Engagement is Critical to Project EnergyConnect

29th March 2019

Stakeholder and community participation is critical to helping us finalise the interconnector route and the Project EnergyConnect team is committed to open and transparent engagement with stakeholders and the community during all stages of the project.

We are currently collecting feedback from landholders, local and state governments and the broader community about the process being used to narrow the 10km-wide study area into a 100m-wide easement for the proposed interconnector.

We are visiting all Local Government areas between Robertstown in South Australia and Buronga in New South Wales, that sit within the initial 10km study area. We are also meeting with landholders who have property within the 10km study area, councils, the broader community and other key stakeholders.

We are also providing an opportunity for people to comment through our interactive mapping tool. Click here to access this tool and provide your feedback.
