Major Development status granted

Project EnergyConnect has been granted Major Development status in South Australia, with Premier Steven Marshall naming the interconnector as ‘nation-building infrastructure.’ 

The South Australian portion of the project will now be referred to the State Commission Assessment Panel (SCAP) so that the appropriate level of assessment can be determined.
